On March 4th in Houston, TX I will be presenting a lunch and learn roundtable called "People, Process, Technology: Getting the Right Mix"
Given the title I had someone ask me to further define the topic. Here is my response in case others have questions.
The discussion will start with a presentation on the three key components (people, process, technology), and the situation in the current marketplace with each.
For instance
People: The turnover factor today as compared to 10 years ago, what companies are doing, how are they finding resources, when resources are found what type of training, what tools, what skills apply.
Process: Business processes are often defined when a new application is installed; however, the variables that impact the decisions around these business processes change quickly. Focus will be on when business processes are updated and renewed, reconsidered or refined.
Technology: Many of the changing variables defined above in process fall in this sector. Focus will be on how the newer options can or should or could be adopted.
The format is moderated interactive discussion.
If you are interested in attending please let me know. No, the event will not be captured on video this time around.
Hi there Anne,
This post really helped me in researching and writing a piece on collaboration – thank you very much! I’ve tried to ping this post from my own blog, but I’m not sure how reliable pingback/trackback is, so I thought I’d say hello the old fashioned way!
btw, my piece is called 'The Tension in Collaboration’ and is online at;

Best wishes,
